Wok strainer
Wire strainer for scooping and skimming food in soups; and when deep frying dumplings, tempura, fritters, etc.
Made in China, and widely used in Chinese restaurants, this type of kitchen strainer has a bowl shaped scoop. Quality is OK, not great - handle could be better, however the wire scoop is very rigid and should stand up to moderate use. An useful item.
This one has a red plastic handle. These also come in blue and green.
