Clay Garlic Keeper
An aerated clay pot for storing garlic - decorative, with a pig face (see the inset photo, click on the photo to expand it.) Made in the same way as our other clay Pomaireware™ pieces. This item has 4 holes on two sides for ventilation.
Versatile hand made clay cookware with unique cooking characteristics and a great appearance for serving.
Clay pot dimensions:
The pot itself is about 6-1/4” tall, and the lid adds about another 1-3/4" in height (including the handle on top.)
Top outside diameter is about 4-3/4"; opening is about 3-1/4".

Clay bakeware has been hand made in Pomaire, Chile since the mid 1800’s.
Ovens work around the clock in Pomaire, packed full of clay pieces. Each item is formed, dried, then smoothed and burnished with an agate stone before being fired. No glaze or varnish is used, the only ingredient is lead free clay. It takes around 8 hours in the oven to create the dry, hard finish. This is a hand made item, so no two are exactly alike, and each one has it’s own blemishes and shades of color.
Cleaning: hand wash.
Clay products are generally shipped within 2 business days and should arrive from 1 to 5 business days from ship date (to most addresses within the continental USA.)
