Clay pig dish, Pomaireware™. Smaller condiment serving dishes, each with a little pig face and pig tail, connected by a handle. Complete with two small rustic hand made spoons, one for each bowl, around 3-1/4" long.
About 7-1/2" in width overall; each bowl is about 3-1/4" inside diameter and about 1-1/8" deep. Stands about 5-1/4" tall with the handle being the tallest part. Pomaireware™ is hand made in Chile - dimensions are approximate.
The clay walls on this earthy item are less than 1/4" thick, and it's made of the same clay as the Pomaireware bakeware, so you could bake in it. Each bowl holds about 4 fluid ounces. Photos show two medium limes cut into wedges in one of the bowls, and very course salt in the other bowl.

Clay bakeware has been hand made in Pomaire, Chile since the mid 1800s. This distinctive piece is both functional and decorative and makes a unique serving dish.
Ovens work around the clock in Pomaire, packed full of clay pieces. Each item is formed, dried, then smoothed and burnished with an agate stone before being fired. No glaze or varnish is used, the only ingredient is lead free clay. It takes around 8 hours in the oven to create the dry, hard finish. This is a hand made item, so no two are exactly alike, and each one has its own blemishes and shades of color.
Very popular all over Chile for baking and serving. Use soft utensils such as wood, bamboo, or plastic; hand wash. While the finish is fairly tough, it could be cured by cooking with oil at first. Bear in mind that this clay is somewhat porous its not glazed so if left sitting with water in it some leakage may occur. Cooking oil is thicker and will not soak through.
